Hi
What sort of backup? Full or Incr?
Has a good full worked? What was the status of the Full and did it
complete successfully?
I take it that the frequency of the backup has not changed (Check your
backup policy setting for this job).

Worse case....
1) Reboot the NetBackup Client Service on the client (To clear any
processes)
2) Reboot NBU Server if possible (to clear any processes)

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Backup job running several times


Last night I ran into a problem and this has happened before from time
to time. One of the backup jobs will run over and over and this stops
the other jobs from running until they all fail eith 196 errors. this
particular job ran about 50 times.

We are running 6.5.2 on windows 2003 servers for master and media
servers and the clinet is running 6.5.2a. client  on a 2003 server.
