You can disable the barcode checking at the configuration of the i2K

The other thing to look at is your labels, do they end in L1 - like an LTO1
tape label. If they do and the drive is an LTO4 it won't use it.  At least I
know this is the case on my Scalar i2000.

I had to get new cleaning labels as all mine ended in L1 and they wouldn't
work in the LTO4 drive.  Not sure if the drive wouldn't use them or if the
robot would fail to load, but new labels fixed my problem.

They appear to be configured with the same type but we are still having the
problem.

My cleaning tapes are TDK Ultrium Universal cleaning tapes. It says it's for
LTO 1, 2, 3 and 4 drives. Has anyone had a problem with these?
