The vault selection screen allows you to select the date or time range to vault
- if set to only vault yesterday backups, it will not vault backups from prior
days.

We have been getting some negative feedback from our Operations staff about
having to reload tapes into our Tape Silo after our vault runs. The tapes are
always tapes that we have recalled from our outside Vault Company and are being
used for a system restore. Sometimes those restores can take significant time
and we would like to keep the tapes around in case the user needs any
additional files restored. Typically what happens is our next Veritas Vault
run will select those tapes and eject them causing the tapes to go offsite
again. Any suggestions for temporally marking those tapes so that they are not
selected by Veritas Vault?

Thanks,
Jim
