Check on the netapp side, what does it report. Does it show the
tape drive as in use. Is there an active ndmp job using the tape drive.
Try the storage show tape command
And the sysconfig –t command
Try the ndmpd status and session kill commands

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Tape drive is assigned with a tape loaded ...Yet
no tape in the tape drive...
Master =
NetBackup-Solaris9 6.0MP6
Tape drive is
attached to NetApp Filer... And is controlled from the Master...
Tape drive
shows in vmoprcmd that it has a tape loaded... And bpdbjobs shows a job associated
with that tape
drive...
Yet nothing is
running and has been hung out there for a bit...
I attempt to
resetbyname and get the following:
"Drive is
currently assigned"
And also I
cannot kill the jobs......
Is there a way
to clear this up?
Thanks.....
