Having issues sending mail from my work ( iron Mountain) ..Here is what my exchange admin says...Comments please .....

Still we are unable to find DNS MX record for remote domain. Looks like MX for remote domain mailman.eng.auburn.edu is mis-configured. Our e-mail gateways query only MX entry in DNS to deliver mails and this is the industry standard practice followed by most of mail servers. However, some mail server failover to 'A' record if MX record not found which is not recommended and this could be the reason AOL is able to send mails.

Doug all of a sudden I cannot send email to the list. Our Exchange folks thinks it is an issue on your side..Any help would be appreciated….
