I asked a NetBackup product manager this last week and it is *NOT* supported.  Not only is not supported for the NetBackup catalog, it's also not supported for the EMM database.

It's not a performance issue - it's a functionality issue.


I too would like like to see a supported solution for moving the stuff to NFS.
