Greetings and thought I'd ask the talent here 1st:

Server A is going away.
Customer want to keep the Netbackup "backups" for data recovery.
Customer wants to move the Netbackup environment over to server B.

Server A - HP-UX Superdome, IA64 O/S
Server B - IBM Server, AIX 5.3 O/S

Server A's name will change to server C
Server B's name will change to server A

The IP address from server A can NOT be moved as there are applications hard 
coded with server A's IP address.

Can Netbackup and it's catalog be moved over to Server B (to be renamed A) with 
a different IP address, different O/S, and different hardware platform??

Or are we looking at contracting with Symantec Netbackup Consulting Services to 
do a catalog migration/hack???

Ed.....maybe you and others can shed some light on this for me. Any idears???
