[Veritas-bu] YNT: Netbackup Upgrade

You have to be very sensitive on this work. Foolw the following guide step by step.

The mot important point is consistecy report. Ensure that there are no image, media, or volume database inconsistencies.

If you apply all steps one by one, it is ot so difficult.

The other importat point is, check that your library is supported or not by NetBAckup 6.5 from NetBackup 6.5 HCL guide.

Hi,

Please assist. I am planning an upgrade from Netbackup 5.1 to NBU 6.5 . It is a SUNOS 5.9 Master Server connected to an EMC DL710 with flare code 3.0. Is anyone aware of any support issues/problems. Anything in particular I should look out for when performing this upgrade?
