Most newer Autoloaders usually can be configured in "AUTO/SEQUENTIAL" or "RANDOM" Mode - i.e. If you want the autoloader to manage library operations (which tape to put it etc...) then you would use AUTO but since you are using Netbackup you are probably better off switching the Autoloader into Random mode - in which it responds more like a traditional library.
