Is your VTL in the hardware compatibility list? Maybe I misunderstand
what VTL you have, but the only Hitachi I see in the list is "VF100
Series." The list also shows the required Inquiry String--it shouldn't
identify itself with the string of the library it's going to emulate.
"ALACRIT^VTLA" for the VF100, for instance.
