U can only set retention to disk backup, the disk staging to tapes was fixed 
to 2-week
This is "Basic Disk Staging" limitation, or else nobody will buy "Vaulting 
license" right !!

Hi, I have NBU 6.5.2 on a Windows Master/Media setup.  I'm curious how I 
might change the retention in the disk staging process.  All of my jobs are 
5 week retention, but when the disk staging takes place, it only retains to 
2 weeks.  If anyone could help me find where to make this change, I would 
greatly appreciate it.
