Do you backup this master server as a regular client in another
location?

If you do, then just restore the missing policy from backup

The default location of the policies is

/usr/openv/netbackup/db/class

When I had this issue I made sure I had a current catalog backup then I
restored the catalog for 7 days ago and that restored my policies.  Then
I restored my current catalog which did not delete  any policies just
brought the catalog back up to date.

Somehow 1 of our policies has disappeared last week.

Is there a way to check what policies have been in the system a week
ago?

We are using NBU 5.1
