[Veritas-bu] Cannot restore files, getting status code 5

Hi,

I’am trying to restore images creates with NB 6.0 that are listed correctly in the backup/restore client but I got status code 5. Those images are backed up with the Vbproxy in the media server machine and trying to restore them to the same place( media server ).

10:52:28 10/09/2008: Restore Started

10:52:29 (1848.xxx) Media id 5185L3 is needed for the restore.

10:52:29 (1848.001) Restoring from image created 08/09/2008 8:43:47

10:52:29 (1848.001) Status of restore from image created 08/09/2008 8:43:47 = the restore failed to recover the requested files

10:52:29 (1848.001) The following files/folders were not restored:

10:52:29 (1848.001) UTF - /C/mnt/x.x.x.x-fullVM/

Could any tell me what could be wrong or which log to look for more detailed information?,

The media server and client are the same machine.

The files backed up are listed correctly and i can select them so i souposse that the are ok in the tapes.

I usually just let the netbackup SQL agent create the scripts for me by using the save option

does anyone have or know of a good small guide to getting a sql backup with netbackup 6.5

had a flick through the tomb of a sql guide but just wondering if there is a nice simple do this , do that , start this and away you go
