I don't have any experience with it but I would expect that a Hyper-V guest running a NetBackup client would work. A disk-only media server might work slowly but a tape media server will likely not even work. A master server that does no tape work might work. I would not expect any server functionality to be supported - neither a media server nor a master server
If you can't find it on the published compatibility lists, that means it is not supported.
