Hi Alex,

I don't have such problem with the block size on the OS after I applied the MS patch on my W2k3 SP1, I have Emulex HBA cards and their drivers that supports 256k block size. All my Windows media servers work perfectly fine with  256k. Per MS 64k buffer size for the tape driver was fixed in SP2. I have one W2k3 SP2 media server and it works with the tuned data  buffer size, again no issues. I also have LTO-2 and LTO-3 tape drives.
