[Veritas-bu] NBU 5.0 VMware 3.5 tools issue

Stumped on this one

NBU 5.0 MP7

Backing up guest OS’s only

VMware 3.0.2 ESX

Windows 2003 Guest OS works fine

When update the VMware tools to 3.5 then the Master server (Windows 2003) can NOT communicate to the guest OS

Can ping, login, etc but ANY communication to the clients from netbackup do not work such as bpgetconfig, etc

Client can communicate to Master.

no network changes, no NATing, just the tools update….

If migrate the guest os over to a VMware 3.5 ESX then works.

When migrate back it works intermittent (I.E Master may be able to communicate but then will eventually get an error 41 when either looking for properties or a backup job running)

This is true for 4 separate VMware ESX servers…

Anyone???????
