This is correct, to a point.  If you are going to exceed 4TB of disk on the 
back end (actual disk size) you'll need to up the RAM- for a full 8TB of disk 
the spec is for 10GB RAM for an all-in-one.   But yes- you need a dedicated 
server.  You can probably get by with 1 dual-core if you have a small number of 
clients (say- less than 10) but with 75 clients as you described I would take 
the 2xDual Core as gospel.

Keep an eye on your clients too- they will probably behave most similarly to 
FlashBackup clients.  If the disks are too full, or you have snapshot issues 
your PD backups will crash and burn.  

The OS is non-negotiable.  As far as they have been willing to divulge to me at 
this point via support, no plans for opening that up, so stripped-down SUSe it 
is.

You can export the data to Netbackup and do restores that way (as long as you 
install both clients), but I've found that to be more trouble than it's worth.
