Has anyone noticed in their job details that at the end of a backup; "- end writing - write time: <with:impossibly:fast_time>" shows up with unrealistic backup statistics?

I've encountered hundreds of full (not sure about incr yet) client backups whose detail statistic's are indicating that I'm either running on LTO VI Tape Drives and/or/both the PureDisk Agent's via the San Client on every server I backup.

I wish . .  how many of us would like to be able to say they backup "<point>" .910 Tb in 01:15:24 to tape with a similar infrastructure?

The 5.1 backup detail environment for the same client's in question, now in 6.5.1, have similar or identical "duration times", but the write times are no way similar or accurate.

This is occurring on client versions that are at either  5.1 MP4+ or 6.5.1.

I have case's open with Symantec on this, and yes, we've check BIOS clock settings etc....)

My suspicion is that during the backup, every time a new "granted resource" request or process occurs to either span tapes or wait for new media, a reset/error on the total write time or accumulation of all write times statistics occur.

Thanks,
Scott

PS: Make Aptare reporting very unhappy
