Subject: [Veritas-bu] VCB Error 36

I'm configuring a new VMWare infrastructure with VCB 1.1 on an existing
NBU 6.5.1 install on Windows 2003. I've got everything running, and I
thought it was going well until error 36. Here's what I've noticed.

Policy Fires - Creates Parent Job
In VMFS Datastore a snapshot is created for the VM I'm backing up VMFS
Snapshot disappears and snapshots appear on backup proxy Parent Job
Creates Child Job Child Job fails with Error 36 "Out of Memory"

The system has plenty of memory available. I've looked at the bpcd,
bprd and bpfis logs and the only thing that look promising is the
following:

>>From the bpfis log on the proxy:
12:22:13.562 [3880.5832] <2> rebuild_fim_list: Virtual_machine_backup=2
12:22:13.562 [3880.5832] <4> onlfi_thaw: Thawing ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES using

12:22:19.171 [3880.5832] <4> onlfi_thaw: do_thaw return value: 0

12693624.0
12:22:19.171 [3880.5832] <4> bpfis: INF - EXIT STATUS 0: the requested
operation was successfully completed

I've looked at all the systems involved and they all have plenty (3+ GB
Free) of ram avalible. Any ideas?
