Folks,

It's getting time to start the planning and move our NB Master Server v
6.5.1 on Windows Server 2003. I've been digging through the TOCs in the
Admin Guides, where I thought guidelines lived, but I can't find them. But
here's what I've culled so far from the old Veritas forums - I just don't
know what sticks for 6.5.

64#M30864)

- Install new box and NBU Server
- Add new server name to current master (Master Server
Properties->Servers->Servers)
- Copy the following to the new server:
        %INSTALL_PATH%\NetBackup\db
        %INSTALL_PATH%\VolMgr\database
        %INSTALL_PATH%\var
- Shutdown current master and start processes on new master
- test a backup
- If success, copy/recover database over

Caveats? Would this allow for a new master hostname? I would like
Symantec's docs here, but I've yet to run across them.

Thanks,
Jason
