With the Master server controlling the EMM database in 6.x, I like to keep
the robotic control on the master just to centralize all media operations.

If you've got a separate "backup fabric" and your master is not already
connected to it, then I wouldn't bother adding another HBA and occupy
another switch port just for that.

If it's a common fabric, I would add the robot on the disk HBA.

I like the centrality of having the robot on the master. With 6.x then
you could take any media server offline for maintenance without worry of
having to keep a particular one up because it's the robotic controller.
