The sgscan and sg.install know nothing about amd64 solaris servers.

The normal location for a sparc/solaris sg driver is in /kernel/drv and the 
sg.conf file will be placed in the same directory. With the amd64/solaris 
server, you need to place the sg.conf file in /kernel/drv/amd64.

sgscan will still probably fail to notice your new drives are configured but 
netbackup will discover them.
