One last question (for now): when you add the robot (ACSLS) and tape drives
to the new media servers, how do you go about doing it (your method)?

Could you show your tpconfig -d on the media server using:

1. 9840 drives
2. T10K drives

And also the commands you used to configure them, and also:
/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/vmglob -listall -b on the master?
