Sorry, you right click on the media.
Select label, then the next box will have the check
box.
I only use the JAVA GUI.... Only Solaris
here!
Kevin,
I highlighted one of them in media and left click...I don't
see a box at all, let alone one labeled Verify media label..I also went into the
media and said change and I don't see it there...where should I see this
box? Is this only an option through the Windows Administration
console? Thanks.
Renee,
I just select them thru the GUI and make sure that
uncheck the box "Verify media label before performing operation".
You can do multiple tapes, I have select over 50 tapes and no
problem.
This will work on 5.1 and 6.x
Kevin
Anyone have a good
way of changing the Recorded Media ID (or even better ignoring it) on media that
was originally written by NBU, then had to have new barcode labels
assigned. The media do not have any images on them....just reusing them
from another environment. Even though it would be a pain to do for each
tape, I even tried mounting one of the tapes with robtest and using bplabel but
it errored with a media request error. Any help would be
appreciated.
