Attached are the instructions to get a NetBackup client to work on Mac
OS 10.5 until Symantec comes out with a "supported" solution.

Disclaimer:

As of 1/14/2008, Mac OS 10.5 isn't officially supported by Symantec for
NetBackup. These instructions have been tested with a NBU 5.1 client
using a NBU 6.0 master/media server. Northwestern Mutual makes no
warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of any information contained
in this message and hereby excludes any liability of any kind for the

Guys,

I don't think it's that difficult to gin up some plist files for the
various Veritas components and convert things to use launchd. I did it
to
a G5 I've got in my office shortly after I loaded Leopard on it. You
should be able to copy a plist entry for a similar service (I might have

used something like telnet) and then substitute the proper arguments.
>>From what I remeber, you use lauchctl to load/start the new daemons.
Works just fine after that.
