Re: [Veritas-bu] Oracle RMAN backup using Netbackup

It appears that you are using the default RMAN setup without installing the NBU Oracle Agent. (When you run rman without an agent installed, it backs up to oraclehome/dbs.) You need to install and configure the NBU Oracle Agent. Once that’s done, the Oracle policy you configure will determine where backups are stored.

Hi,

I am taking backup of Oracle DB using Veritas Netbackup.Veritas Netbackup master and media Server is running on Windows 2003 server.

Oracle backup is stored into Oracle server in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs.

But I want to store backup files into Netbackup server.So how I can do this.

Os : Solaris 10 (sparc 64bit)
Oracle : Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 Standard Edition
