Expect alot of problems with this. I am sure young Ed Wilts
advised this is not supported.... and with 2 mixes of version of NBU 6.5, its
not going to be alot of fun.
Maybe just import the tapes you need, as and when
required?

My group has been requested to take over the
backups from another group. I have no interest in having multiple master
servers, so I want to merge the 2 environments.
I figure my first issue is that my environment is
6.5 and theirs is 5.1. So, I plan on upgrading them to 6.5 before I do
anything.
Next, I need to make sure that they have no
duplicate media ids. I don't have to worry about duplicate host
names.
Anybody ever do this? If so, any information
would be appreciated.
