Using HP's LTT or other software, has anyone written a special tape which 
then you can load into any tape drive to upgrade its firmware?  Vs. 
manually attaching to its SCSI/FIBER interface and upgrading manually?

I ask because:

A) it's always important to have the latest or newest firmware-- fixes a 
lot of bugs etc with the drives/tapes
B) you dont want to have mismatched firmware for your tape drives in the 
library
