It's unclear whether you're asking about an OS-level SCSI reserve that
NetBackup doesn't know about, but assuming SSO and a SCSI reserve that NetBackup
actually set, you want /usr/openv/volmgr/bin/vmdareq, like
so:
(Also good, with no
arguments, to make sure that your SSO-using [SAN] media servers are registering
their drives properly.)
Note that that's NBU
4.x/5.x speak. I can't speak to 6.x (yet).

Hi,
Although the drive is empty, It seems as if it
is being used master server. Due to that, that drive can not be used by
policies. Is there any command to see there is a lock on it?Is there any command
to clear the lock to re-use it without stopping netbackup
daemons?
