NOM is just an app and
it shouldn?t/doesn?t care/know that it?s running on a VM. If you ever
called support, would you even mention the hardware something is running
on? You?re going to say, ?It?s running on Solaris/Linux/Windows,? not
?It?s running on a Dell 2850.? So why would you mention that?s it?s running on a
VM?

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Running NOM on a
VM.....
All,
Is anyone running
their NOM server on a VM (linux or
windows)? I was at a conference last week at Symantec and they did a demo
of the product running the NOM server on a VM but said it wasn?t
supported. I?m curious to know if anyone is doing it
anyway.
Thanks,
