Greetings
We have been using Aptare for 5 years
now, and are happy with it.
>>From what I know, it handles, VERITAS NetBackup, VERITAS
Backup Exec, Tivoli Storage Manager, EMC Legato NetWorker and HP Data Protector.
in any combination.
The install and configuration is straightforward,
and Aptare tech support is there to help. I works on both Windows
and Linux or Solaris.
It has a Web interface, etc, so no special
clients are needed. It comes with Oracle "built in" so
to speak.
Support is excellent.

All,
I am narrowing down my search for a reporting
tool to these 2 products.
Does anybody have any experience with both
of these?
How was the install and configuration? (length
and complications)
Do they really do a good job of handling multiple
backup software environments?
How was support?
