Yes, We've had issues with Solaris 10 and its native MPxIO with our HDS
arrays, which was solved by reconfiguring the boxes to use HDLM.
(Hitachi Dynamic Link Manager). HDLM is our corp standard for boxes
attached to the HDS arrays, and the couple Solaris ones running MPxIO
were "mistakes".

Depending on how you feel about vendor support and the size of your
boxes, Storage Foundation Basic can be used for free on boxes with 2 or
less processors and 4 or less VxVM filesystems. The free/basic license
includes fully functioning DMP.
