Kevin,
First off, I am assuming you are running
VMWARE Workstation 5.X which, as far as I know only runs on Windows systems.
(There may be a Linux version that I do not know about.)
That said. Are you able to do
nslookups from the client (read Rumba) to the NetBackup server by IP address
and by name? Can you do the same on the NetBackup server?
