hi,
   when i took backup in standalone drive the set was windows with NB6.0 mp4 
where both master n media server both same i.e windows

1..now i removed connection of drive from windows and connected to linux where 
linux act as both master and media. 
2..now from this setup and with media in drive whosa backup data is from 
windows, i want to restore watever data is there in tape to linux system.

how can i restore data which is in tape in standalone drive.??? how can i make 
linux NB to see data residing in tape and then restore??/

Hope my problem is clear now..
this is to test disaster recovery where data is backed up long back n now just 
to restore the data which is written to tape long back from different setup but 
with same backup software.
