Not that I'm aware of. Even if you did do the backup/restore method,
unless you did manual manipulation of the clocks, I'm assuming you'd
lose information about the date the backup occured.

While I appreciate being able to consolidate your active backup
environments, it may not be worth it trying to do anything with the old
media. Just make sure you have a machine that can run the necessary
version of Networker to do restores and test them (and your
procedures/documentation) once a quarter.
