Hi Jason

These error appear during image catalog clean-up. Quite often the name in
the message (in your case Windows_Full-Perimeter_1139049779_FULL) points to
a image without a valid .f file or the image file has a size of 0.

Check the file
<installation_path>\NetBackup\db\Images\Perimeter\1139000000\Perimeter_11390
49779_FULL. If it's zero size that's the problem. In this case and, please,
only in this case you can delete the file.

The mentioned files are created when a backup start. If NetBackup is forced
down the job information will not be written to the file and the file will
not be deleted. Result is this error.

Cheers

We've been quite fortunate lately. After months of tweaking for weekend
full performance, we've been running for about two weeks with all blue and
yellow men! I just ran the Problems report and noticed quite a few of
these:
6/26/2007 7:49:03 PM MasterServer Error 0
General Bad image header: Windows_Full-Perimeter_1139049779_FULL, error:
file read failed (13)

Since I'm not playing whack-a-mole with backup issues, I'm looking at more
fine-tuning. Anyone do anything with these? Or are they media errors?

Thanks,
Jason
