NBU 6.5 will support clients at 5.0 MP4, 5.1, 6.0, or 6.5.  NBU will
typically only support one MAJOR rev back.  Therefore, 6.x will support 5.x
clients.  Specific OS releases may not be supported, and Advanced Client may
require higher levels

The rule of thumb has always been that NetBackup will officially support one
rev back.  So 6.5 won't officially support a 5.x client although it may
work.
