hi,
  I only found the solution in googling....
go to following location and run the command 
C:\Program Files\VERITAS\NetBackup\bin\admincmd
run the command 
bpexpdate -m barcode(tapename) -d 0
bpexpdate -m barcode(tapename) -d mm/dd/yyyy

id zero is given in the command then u can delete that tape anytime u want.
