Glad to hear it - I'm doing the same thing. I got the okay from Symantec in
that there were no know issues with ZFS so I went for it.
I did a clean install of NBU 5.1 MP6 on Solaris 10 on a Sun fire v440. Catalog
is on a RAID-Z array.
I bought the v440 used and I discovered I have one of the early motherboard
revs (soon to be replaced) that feature system lockups under certain
conditions... Long story short, I had to power-cycle the system and the nice
thing was the ZFS file system came right up - no more slogging through fsck.

Greetings,
This response is quite delayed, but: We've been using ZFS to hold the
NBU catalogs (and binaries, and logs) since our initial install of NBU
6.0-MP4 starting last November. We're running Solaris-10U3 on SPARC
(master server is a T2000).
Regards,
Marion
