In RMAN scripts you pass in the name of hosts and policies to NetBackup.
Have you checked to insure these are correct?

 

Also you don't mention what hosts you are seeing and which ones you
expect to see instead.

Hi,

 

when I run my oracle backup policy, the dbclient logs shows that the
host name and client name is wrong causing my backups to fail with a
status 239.

 

I have checked the hosts file, dns, server and no where does it
references this other name.

 

Can anyone help?
