Hi All,
Just after some guidance or possible opinions on some "image" files I have
come across!

Setup:
Win2k3 NBU 5.1 + MP2 and 2 SAN Media Servers (Win2k3)

The install of NBU was placed on C: drive of the local server. I had to move
the images to a new drive due to lack of space (bad planning but not on my
part!)

I created a folder path on a G:\ Drive and its called
NetBackup\Alternate_db\Images folder and within this, is a list of all
client folders that get backed up, and consequently, the image files for
each of these clients.

Now, I noticed this morning, disk space is VERY low. I was in the process of
trying to work out why I was using so much space when I suddenly discovered
17 files names from image1 to image9 - the date modified for these files
shows 15-11-2005, 24-06-2005 and 25-04-2005.

So in other words, the image files are not recent. These files contain 16GB
of disk space. some are over 2GB in size, others range between 35kb and
432MB !

As its the 13th November today, I am expecting 2 things to happen:

1) The files will disappear 16th November
2) the files will stay, and it probably means I may have a problem.

but I have no idea if these files are valid - they dont look valid, but is
there a way to confirm this?

Thanks

Regards
