Just an update - Thought you may all like to know I finally got this
working, once I got the CORRECT SA password at first!!

I know SQL does its own DB Backup Plan, but that's EXACTLY the problem.
There was an "assumption" it was working, and it was not.

A major disaster showed this. I don't want to WAIT for a problem. I want
NetBackup to TELL ME straight away if there is an issue. This way, it
warrants and gets investigated straight away.... Rather than "assume" its
all ok.

Although its costly, the money it costs to repair the broken SQL is 5 times
as much as the agent !

Invest in it :-) You know it makes (some!) sense !!

Hi Simon

Make the dbbackup and dbclient directories under Netbackup/logs and raise
verbose to 5, this usually gives a pretty indication of what problem is.
