Ok good. Our NDMP backups are running 50-80mb/s, with spikes as high as
100mb/s. But that is direct filer to drive by FC. I am more concerned
about going over our IP netbackup and making sure that netbackup is
setup correctly to achieve that fastest rates we can get with little or
no show shining.

If your speeds are < 27MB/s, you get "Shoe Shining" - 27MB/s is the
minimum you are supposed to run an LTO3 drive at.
