You need to open a support call.  You only get the binaries if you have a
problem that the binaries are known to fix because they haven't gone through
a full QA cycle yet.  Remember that some of these binaries haven't been out
very long (it's been as short as a few hours for us) so it's quite possible
that it breaks something as well as fixes something.  Consider them beta.

Potentially yes.  You need to validate that the problems that you had are
fixed in the next MP.  The analyst that gives you the binaries will also be
able to tell you if they're in MP4 when MP4 starts to ship.
