If you have a VS contract ask from your dealer or go to 
https://my.veritas.com/vlicense/VLicenseLogin.jsp and upgrade your keys to 
NetBackup 6. In the process you will get all keys for 4.5, 5.1, and 6.0. Keep 
the 5.1 and 6.0 keys. For the upgrade you can use the 3.4 keys and change them 
when you finish the upgrade.

The path is to upgrade the master server and the clients to 4.5. Then upgrade 
the master server to NetBackup 5.1 and after that to NetBackup 6. You can leave 
the clients to 4.5, but it is best to upgrade them when you can to 5.1 or 6.0 

If you want to be trouble free, upgrade NetBackup to 5.1 and stay there. Don?t 
go to NetBackup 6.0 (unless you want to stick your phone to your ear calling 
veritas support, or there is an option of V6.0 you desperately want)
