Other than the planning secions on implementing NetBackup and configuring
it, I do not know of anything myself.
What I have learned is the following (and all of this assumes on your
environment or money)

Buy a large Tape Library using the latest LTO technology where possible.
All client LAN Backups to be configured for maximum throughput (GB if at all
possible!)
Clients with LARGE DATA volumes that requires quick backups can be
implemented as SAN MEDIA SERVER(S).
Use SSO to share a Tape Library with the SAN MEDIA Servers(s).
If Windows, turn off any I/O Disk software or AV.
Ensure Multiplexing and streaming is configured best for your setup.

Hope this is of some help - Not a lot to go by, but some tips :-)
