I have a few SQL queries that I am using to do some similar things. You
should also look into the new xml reports Aptare just released. Send me
an email or give me a call and I will share what I have.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Aptare reporting question

I'm trying to get some ideas for data mining in Aptare. I believe it's a
fairly common product for reporting, and we've already bought it so a
discussion on pros and cons isn't what I'm looking for.

What I do need is some ideas for how people have gotten data out of
Aptare beyond the standard reports that it provides. I'm aware of the
emailed reports that are available, but I've got some other metrics that
I'd like to see. An example desired report would be data backed up in
the last X hours, amount of data backed up in Y days, and so on... I
have a long list of desired information. Any ideas for doing this would
be appreciated.

Anybody have a suggestion? Thanks!
