Platforms:

        NB 5.1MP4  on Win2k backing up NetApp hosts running ONTAP 7.1.0.1


We are having issues backing up the two cluster nodes on out NetApp.  We 
are having some success with smaller volumes, but are getting errors on 
larger ones (and even small ones at times).  The jobs appear to complete 
their writes, but then error out with an NDMP return code 20 on one node 
and NDMP return code 18 on the other.   At this point, the job hangs and 
we are forced to cancel it.  Prior to cancellation, the tape operation 
appears to complete and the drive is unloaded.  Another quirk on this is 
that used tapes (whether they have good data or not) show up in the Media 
List report with a status of "Active".  That may be normal, but I'm not 
certain.  This is new to us and we have never had it working completely. 
Anyone have similar issues or knowledge on this?  Below is a sample.
