I am having trouble getting my old Exabyte EXB210 to work in NB 5.1 using
Red Hat 7.2 as the media server. I know the robot is old and whatnot but it is
indeed in the list of supported robots and I have used it recently in another
setup so I know the robot and drive to be good.

The specific problem is this.
NB can see the robot and drive. I can get an inventory from the library.
I can not do any backups, I continue to get an error stating that there are
no more volume in the pool. I try to do a simple tape clean and it says there
is no cleaning tape defined. I try to run the tests and it tells me
"drive is not DOWN canceling test".

Up until last week this media server was working just fine with a stand alone
8mm drive, and the EXB 210 was working just fine being controled with Solaris
and mt/ufsdump.

Any troubleshooting tips are greatly appreciated. I don't know if this is
Red Hat not knowing about the robot/drive (not likely as NB can see it all)
More likely. I've skipped something in the setup of the robot within NB and
the NB config and the new policy.

Configuration
-------------
Master Server: Kubuntu Linux
Media Server: Red Hat 7.2
Robot/Drive: Exabyte EXB 210 set to SCSI control mode.
Clients: Solaris 8
NetBackup 5.1

Thanks for any and all information.
