Hi
Does anyone do any DR planning with Netbackup on windows in the event of a
Disaster, or Server dies and replaced with new hardware.

See note below....

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Disaster Recovery Software Planning for Win2k3

Hi again
I wanted to use the "collect disaster recovery" info, but as I do not have a
key, I cannot use it!

So I wanted to know what alternative solutions companies in an Win2k3 AD
larger environment are using.

For the main OS I use GHOST, which is "OK", but wondered if anyone else had
any alternative products that work well with Win2k3.

Once the Server is up, its a case of restoring the Data via NBU - which
works. But I would like to review the possibility of a faster solution.

If anyone is in a Win2k3 environemt (or NT/2000), I would love to hear
opinions on this.

With my old NBU 3.4 I must have had a license to do a BMR, because I created
either a CD/floppy disk that was inserted into the server, connected to the
Master Server and restored the data. It worked, but took time...
